Escoda-Sanahuja has been at the forefront of the Spanish natural wine scene since the ‘90s (hello 'BRUTAL' movement!), with the wife and husband team of Mari Carmen Sanahuja and Joan Ramón Escoda being among the first to go biodynamic, and stylistically/spiritually, one of the few to create wines you could truly deem “alive”. A blend of blossomy macabeu (70%) and luscious yet linear chenin blanc (30%), coloured only by time and a lack of intervention. A creamy yet ethereal structure, citric flecked, dragon fruit flesh, salty beach towel, vegetal life & a long lasting presence of mineral excellence.
